The 60s

The 60s saw a much more liberal, daring approach to fashion, boasting colorful fabrics and bold designs. The new trend was called Mod fashion and it was was slim fitting and featured bold geometric shapes. The hippie movement exerted a strong influence on ladies' clothing styles, including bell-bottom jeans,tie-dye, and batik fabrics, as well as paisley print and go-go boots.

The 70s

Not much revolution happened with fashion in the 70s. Polyester was the material of choice and bright colors were everywhere. Men and women alike were wearing very tight fitting pants and platform shoe and huge bell bottomed jeans. Most women were wearing high cut boots and low cut pants while track suits were also very popular.
